Imel is popular at her school, but she never responds to any boy who approaches her because her father is a womanizer causing her to have a trust issue. One day, his father went bankrupt and died. Imel and her mother, Ira, were forced to stay at the house of Ira's older brother. Unfortunately, his family isn't very welcoming of them.

The Warkop DKI team - Dono, Kasino, Indro – returns with two female friends, Winny and Anita, to manage an ugly old hotel, and transform it into a proper hotel. The managing of the hotel becomes fodder for the comedy: a female guest who turns out to be the younger sibling of the room renter; Dono who really likes rats; a dead person in the hotel; a sleepwalking guest, etc.

This film is an expression of the way of life of adolescents as told from the point of view of the teenagers themselves as they rebel against the world of adults. Susan (Nunu Datau), Dody (Adjie Massaid) dan Rini (Cornelia Agatha) are students at SMA 2000. They have unconsciously formed a kind of gang. The film follows the activities of these young people while they are in school, on holiday, and just hanging around. The film focuses on Rini, nicknamed “tomboy”, an expert in karate who dreams of being a martial arts master and hero.
