Denji has a simple dream—to live a happy and peaceful life, spending time with a girl he likes. This is a far cry from reality, however, as Denji is forced by the yakuza into killing devils in order to pay off his crushing debts. Using his pet devil Pochita as a weapon, he is ready to do anything for a bit of cash.

A Chinese animated series based on a 2020 indie short film "False Memory". Unwilling to accept the death of his friend Shi Yan, the protagonist materializes him inside of his memory in the form of Bug Man, who he plays with to escape from his depressing reality. Bug Man is monitored by the Memory Management Bureau, and memory collectors Fang Tang and Bai Zhong are assigned to retrieve him.

A young man gets caught up in fantasies about a girl he used to know, speaking to a version of her that he has constructed in his mind. Then, one day, she meets the real her again.
