Biography
Víctor Manuel "Vicman" Ortigoza is an actor, director and producer. He studied Visual Arts at the Faculty of Arts and Design of the UNAM. It was part of the Graphic Analysis of Film Script Workshops at ENAC taught by Jorge García and the Diploma in Community Audiovisual Creation from PROCINE, INJUVE and the CC Ollin Yolitzli. LA TIENDA DE DOÑA CRISTI is his first documentary short film as a director.

This documentary will take us into the home of Doña Cristi, a 74-year-old woman who has run her grocery store in Ecatepec for more than three decades. We will learn about her life story and the daily difficulties of raising her children, five of them with multiple disabilities, who are her driving force to get up every morning and face all adversity.
Doña Cristi's Grocery Store
A young man is going through a deep dilemma between killing his brother to keep his father's inheritance or leaving him alive, so he decides to meet a lawyer in a cafe to ask him for advice. The story is intertwined with an event in his family past, because when the boy decides to act, he is surprised by the consequences of an infidelity that occurred 25 years ago.
