Biography

Hasaan Gilmer was born in Philadelphia, raised in Brooklyn, NYC by his grandmother. While living in Brooklyn, Hasaan discovered his love for drawing and sports. Baseball and basketball was a big part in Hasaan's life until he met rapper Foxy Brown who introduced him to the music industry and took him on the road with her while touring. Hasaan has made television appearances on Rap City: The Bassment, 106 & Park, music videos, DVDs, etc. Living the rap star lifestyle, Hasaan noticed it wasn't what it seemed making a minor set back. Hasaan discovered acting as a great way to express himself through something positive. He studies with Meisner acting coach Ron Millkie (Friday the 13th). His style of acting is fresh and charming with an edge. With Ron Millkie's teachings and a life changing meeting with actor Gbenga Akinnagbe, Hasaan went on to land roles in theatre, film and continues to share his craft with the world.
