Riggo Oliveira

Paulo is an experienced doctor who works at a Primary Healthcare Unit on the outskirts of São Paulo. Using unorthodox methods, he focuses on preventative medicine. His routine changes with the arrival of Laura, a recently graduated and ambitious young woman.

On the way back from the swimming practice, Janaina is violently approached by the police. Safe back home, she differently faces her relationship with her father Julio, who’s a policeman.

Province of São Paulo, 1870. An enslaved man flees through a dense forest in search of a supposed quilombo. On his heels are two "capitães-do-mato" with orders to capture him at all costs. But the forest, in its depths, harbors mysteries and ghosts capable of surrounding them in a trap.
