A meditative symphony on the city and death. The filmmaker returns to places where he, 18 years earlier, had made a film about suicide. Now, in the crowded streets of Tehran and in the city’s rundown corners with flanked walls, he searches for the reasons that had led three sisters to end their lives together.

The renovations of our university dorm were left unfinished because of the lockdown in Germany, and the thick fabric that they had put up around the building to contain the debris remained in place. During the lockdown, the 367 of us in this 25 story building could barely see the world outside through the tiny holes of this thick fabric.

After working abroad for several years, a filmmaker returns to his family home in Shiraz, Iran to make a film for the woman he loves. His exploration of his feelings and of the cross-cultural and geographical barriers to pursuing this relationship eventually spark introspections among members of his family, as they express their emotions to one another in new ways in front of the camera. A documentary about cross-generational understandings of love and emotion set in current day Iran.
