Four friends, former 1968 student protesters who have checked out of politics and struggle to come to terms with the present, try self-criticism to figure out what to do with themselves, only to end up doing what they do best: sinking into endless talk without ever reaching a conclusion.

Francesca is a sixteen-year old troubled woman living with her mother, with whom she has a very conflicting relationship. Shortly before Christmas, she must leave for a business trip, and entrusts a young French teacher, Lise. After the initial mutual distrust, the relationship between the two becomes more and more intimate and accomplice, leading them to become lovers. One day, however, Francesca receives a visit of her friend Monica, and she begins to spend all her free time with her and this stirs up Lise's jealousy.

A tremendous congestion hits the Rome highway ring. The biggest traffic jam ever seen lasts more than 36 hours. At the beginning the people blocked in their cars react normally. But as more time passes, the more we witness personal dramas, hysteric reactions and other grotesque situations. All the episodes are linked as if in a single plot. Cars and their hosts are a microcosm of stories part of a larger universe: the congestion.

A very hot young man is discovered by his father in very compromising circumstances with the servant and decides send him to spend a vacation with his mother. The boy, against his will, obeys and stays at the hotel that runs his progenitor and that is really a brothel. The son starts there a true love marathon because it is so well endowed sexually that it is a phenomenon. The usual hotel guests fall as you show before their rare and unstoppable abilities. His performances will be prodigious.
