Biography
Su Lei, born in 1952, is of Mongolian ethnicity. National first-level screenwriter. In 1969, he was drafted into the army and served successively as a soldier, a staff member of the Beijing Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and a screenwriter of the Railway Art Troupe and Drama Troupe. Started publishing works in 1981. Joined the Chinese Writers Association in 1990 and graduated from the Theater Department of the Central Academy of Drama in 1991.
