Biography

Joshua Ugwumsinachi Echebiri is an American theatre and screen actor best known for his appearance in The Good Fight on Paramount+. Born in Nigeria in 1993, he grew up in Houston, Texas and graduated from Carnegie Vanguard High School in 2010, after which he enrolled in Dartmouth College where he double majored and received baccalaureates in biology and sociology in 2014. An active stage performer in college, he attended the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art's Shakespeare Intensive and the British American Drama Academy's Midsummer in Oxford program before matriculating at New York University for their Master of Fine Arts in Acting program. He earned his M.F.A. in 2020 and continues to work professionally on stage and screen while living in Brooklyn, New York.
