Biography
Melik Kuru dropped architecture school and had his BA at Koc University Visual Arts. He had his MFA in Film at Columbia University in New York. His short film, We Are a Family (2020) had premiered at Antalya Film Festival. His feature projects were selected for CineLink, Connecting Cottbus and Meetings on The Bridge. In addition to his directorial work, the feature film he edited Hesitation Wound (dir. Selman Nacar) premiered at Venice Film Festival Orizzonti. Dump of Untitled Pieces is his debut feature film.
