Alfredo Ghierra

This documentary, which includes testimonies from architects, urban planners, and specialists, as well as images of the demolition of iconic buildings, invites us to consider how heritage preservation and modernity can be combined without transforming Montevideo into a "museum city."

This animation is part of a series of works done in pencil, ink, found objects, videos and 3D modeling by Alfredo Ghierra. It describes, details, investigates and creates a personal universe where formalization has the face of cities and the spirit moves to the rhythm of musings.
