A baby is kidnapped from hospital by a desperate grandmother. Her flight sets off a chain of events that bring together complete strangers over the course of one day.

Peşrew and Amine are expectant parents living a normal life in the suburbs. However, their lives soon begin to change with the arrival of their newborn daughter — and with her, the presence of a tormented entity known in Kurdish folklore as Şewe (Sha-wa).
