Burke's Law, a revival of the 1960s cop television series of the same name, aired on CBS from 1994 to 1995. The series centers on Amos Burke, a senior Los Angeles police officer and millionaire, and his son, Peter, who is a detective under his command.

"What's life without a dream?" Starting from the premise "What's life without a dream", STORM in the AFTERNOON tells the story of four people caught at the crossroads of changing social and cultural mores. The ethos of an ethnic immigrant identity is examined against the backdrop of the mythical "American melting pot."

CJ is having a bad day. After flying all the way from New York to London to be with her rock star fiance, CJ ends up alone at Pub Underground. Johnny's addiction to his adoring fans is stronger than his love for CJ. The bartender, in trying to teach her a lesson about love, tells a tale that has all the trappings of a romance novel. Is the story a message rather than a lesson?
