In one of the most extraordinary nights in the history of Egypt, the prisons were suddenly opened, leaving thousands of prisoners wandering the desert. Among them was one man trying to find his way in a city that is rapidly changing for good.

A documentary that reviews the struggle experienced by six young journalists, between their professional duty to provide impartial coverage, and their personal bias towards a historical revolution that they have long dreamed of. It also shows the dangers of journalistic work during the revolution.

The story of a group of young intellectuals living in Egypt as friends, having a lot of ambition and joy, but with the beginning of the Iraq war , it casts a harsh shadow on the group, preventing one of them to travel abroad to continue studying.

Raised in an environment where socialism and the pursuit of justice in Egypt were central, the filmmaker navigates through mixed emotions—pride, burden, and alienation—stemming from his and his parents' intense activist lives. His journey to trace back his family's history highlights the substantial emotional and psychological toll this activism took the thee of them.

A minimum of 25,000 men and children engage in this informal economic activity. The Film tells the story of 16 year Baskaroun and his family together with the efforts to organize and gain some rights by local activists.
