On the eve of her 30th birthday, Haruka is desperately searching for a husband when she runs into her colleague Ikki at a matchmaking event. A habitual liar who joined for fun using a fake profile, Ikki mocks her for chasing romance instead of marriage. Tired of repeated heartbreak, Haruka decides to follow his advice and focus on finding a spouse rather than finding love.
