On the eve of her 30th birthday, Haruka is desperately searching for a husband when she runs into her colleague Ikki at a matchmaking event. A habitual liar who joined for fun using a fake profile, Ikki mocks her for chasing romance instead of marriage. Tired of repeated heartbreak, Haruka decides to follow his advice and focus on finding a spouse rather than finding love. Around them, others pursue marriage for very different reasons: Mizuki seeks a home through a sugar-daddy arrangement, Takeshi joins matchmaking for his mother’s sake, Yuto is earnest but clueless about women, and high-schooler Noai excels at matters of the heart. Meanwhile, a same-sex couple, Hiromi and Takumi, disagree over whether they should have a wedding. As these unlikely people fall for partners who seem completely wrong for them, they must confront a difficult question: can marriage bring happiness without love?
Haruka, who is in a hurry to get married before her 30th birthday, bumps into her colleague Kazuki, who attends a matchmaking party just for fun. Kazuki makes fun of Haruka for thinking that marriage comes after love. According to him, love-based marriages have a higher divorce rate than arranged marriages. He also says that love ends in marriage. Haruka got tired of failing in love and decided to try marriage hunting...
