Roma Gutman (16), is an immigrant from Ukraine, following the war there. While his father dreams of returning to their home country, Roma will do anything in order to fit in his new home.

An intimate diary of a young woman whose pregnancy causes her to suffer from enhanced nightmares, anxieties about her soon to be born baby girl and makes her question motherhood as she knows it, through her own mother and grandmother.

"Surrounded by dozens of soldiers like me, I was led by bus to a remote camp in the desert, a place I knew nothing about. As a military photographer, I collected fragments of moments in my photos, serving as solid evidence for me." Shivtown is the story of an ordinary soldier who, in an intimate and courageous act, revisits memories from his military service through the still images he captured with an analog camera.

The film presents fascist ideologies since the beginning of the 20th Century. The actor/presenter of Maurice Barrés argues against foreign labor on the Tel Aviv beach. Mussolini in a gym. Jose Antonio Primo de Rivera in a bookshop. Carl Schmitt at court. Abba Ahimeir and Itamar Ben-Avi in a public library. Gudrun Streiter recalls her love affair with an SA Stormtrooper with Hitler and Himmler on a bench in a park. Three Rabbis from the Yitzhar Settlement on the West Bank: Shapira, Ginzburg and Elitzur have recently ruled that “there is a reason to kill a child if it is clear that it will grow to harm us” (Torat Hamelekh, 2009, pg. 207). They too appear and discuss their interpretation of Divine commands on a park bench.

Dania (35) visits his father, Abrasha, who lives in public housing for immigrants and suffers from Alzheimer's. Abrasha doesn't recognize his son and only wants to go home, even though he's already there.

I met Hanoch after the army; every morning I would wake to the clatter of his typewriter—he was then writing "Solomon Grip." With Shmuel I played chess; I loved the quiet that accompanied the game. Era, the editor, was my cinematic conscience. My friends are no longer here. But I still speak to them through the memories.

22 years after being adopted, Noa embarks on a journey to Ukraine, retracing the path her adoptive mother took to receive her. She will also approach her biological mother and try to achieve closure with the two mothers in her life.
