Geneviève Hervé

Geneviève Hervé created her first video-painting with the first electronic portraits of her muse Pascale Ogier, and it was broadcasted in a 'Houba Houba' section of the French TV show 'Les Enfants du rock' (January 1982)

Considered to be lost for a long time, the recently rediscovered recording of Ingrid Caven’s legendary first concert in Paris, at Pigall’s, in 1978. Restored by the director.

To the music of the Residents: the clan of vowels embodied by the tribal Gretcha Cargo, her flesh painted by Geneviève Hervé, who then made her first dance video. The electronic effects were designed to echo the makeup: the colors merge and interact under the movements of the dancer, thus transformed. The tape, winner of the Tokyo Festival Prize in 1983, was notably broadcast on the show Houba Houba by Antoine de Caunes in 1982, then at “Video Danse 1984” at the Center Pompidou.
