Biography
People’s Artist Hoang Tien Dung (December 31, 1956 – February 14, 2021) was a Vietnamese actor, film and theatre director who used to hold the position of Director of Hanoi Theatre (2007–2017). Renowned for his versatility and intense portrayals on screen and stage, he gained recognition for his plays in national theatre festivals and a series of distinctive supporting roles in films. He later rose to widespread prominence for his works in television, and was best known as the mob boss Phan Quân in VTV’s “Người phán xử”.
