Miu, a second grader, tries to follow her mother Mizuho's advice to be a "proper child" and observe various restrictions. Her piano teacher, Yuko, on the other hand, encourages Miu to express herself freely. Miu eventually comes to desire freedom from restrictions, but she also understands that this would be a betrayal to Mizuho. Miu struggles between her yearning for freedom and her sense of guilt toward her mother. Meanwhile, Mizuho also undergoes a certain change... An awkward father and son search for a form of love.
Within the school swimming club, teenagers question their sexuality and gender identity.
Three people who have lost their hearts. Futami is young man working in a book cafe who has lost his girlfriend. Amamiya is a radio DJ who has lost his wife. Shizuna is a woman with a puzzling memory disorder and suicidal thoughts. A mysterious woman named Tsuta, who travels with nothing but T-shirts, appears before these three. Tsuta acts cheerfully, yet there is an aura of death about her, and she behaves as if she has known them for a long time. Eventually, the three will confront their own lives and deaths.
Yuta and Ayumi are a childless couple. One day, Ayumi tells him that she's pregnant, but when Yuta goes to the hospital for a check-up, he finds out that he's infertile.
