Biography
Drew Allyn is a writer/director from Southfield, Michigan who aims to tell authentic and introspective stories about communities and our relationships within them. After moving from Southfield to Los Angeles, Drew Allyn wrote and directed the short film ‘The Moon Bird’, which screened at various festivals including the Micheaux Film Festival and the Culver City Film Festival. Allyn is an alumna of the Mentorship Matters BIPOC Writers Initiative and The Craft Institute's Writers Residency. Currently, he is one of the writers on the upcoming fourth season of Apple TV’s FOUNDATION.
