Rudy met Ilona. Their different visions made it hard to be together. Ilona wants Rudy to stay in Germany and is opposed to his love for Indonesia.

Hari, a young psychologist and his sister Eka, goes back to their village for the funeral of their estranged mother who committed suicide by hanging. There they are confronted with the superstitious beliefs of the locals which is behind their mother’s death.

Mbak Gede, a middle-aged woman, oversees the illegal life of the bus terminal with a watchful eye, as she is the lady in command, the one to be feared, until her husband arrive.
