After an earthquake in Naples bay, the body of a man is found. While Dino and his daughter, Victoria, travel to Italy for a DNA test, the past catches up with them.

Cesare, a young musicology student attends the screening of an archival video presented by a strange professor. As the video moves forward cesare is more and more entranced by the thoughts and philosophies presented by the speaker. Silvia, his classmate, witnesses Cesar’s metamorphoses, who finds himself irresistibly pulled toward a mysterious castle haunted by the ghost of an old man.

Proxima B is an experimental video shot entirely in stop motion. The camera moves frame by frame in models on which video projections animate the sets. Some plant elements were added to the drawing, frame by frame.
