Nine animated stories based on the original Peter Rabbit books by Beatrix Potter.

Peter is a slight lad, solitary, locked out of the woods by his protective grandfather, his only friend a duck. In town, he's bullied. When a wolf menaces the duck - as well as grandfather's fat cat and an ill-flying bird that Peter has befriended - Peter bravely tries to tree the wolf. Grandfather, the townspeople, and the hunters who have antagonized Peter figure in the dénouement.

The story of a cat who, legend has it, longs to become human.

Rupert Bear goes on a walk in the hills near his home, where he encounters a community of frogs who join together in a musical extravaganza.

An animated film about the British engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel, who spearheaded numerous engineering marvels of the early 19th century - including the Thames Tunnel, the Great Western Railway, and the Great Eastern steamship (for 40 years the world's largest steamship). Various styles of animation are used to depict events in his colorful life.

To celebrate Jack London's 100th death anniversary, director Fx Goby adapted his famous novel, "To Build a Fire", tragic tale of a trapper and his dog in the freezing Yukon, into an animated short film.

"The World of Peter Rabbit and Friends", episode 9. A sleepy Mr. Bouncer can not stop Tommy Brock from stealing the sleepy Flopsy bunnies, which he takes to Mr. Tod's lodge where he plan to eat them, but the owner comes back.

"The World of Peter Rabbit and Friends", episode 3. While hiding from his mother Tabitha, Tom Kitten got caught by two rats who wants to turn him into a nice pudding.

The story takes place in a bedroom where, following an embarrassing sexual encounter, it shows a naked man’s disaffection with his own tongue. Tongue being the articulator of the man’s voice, has been his lifetime proxy. But it is beginning to brazenly assert itself and fly in the face of its owner. The man can tolerate this no more and a power struggle ensues during which we learn something of the tongues dubious nature.

"The World of Peter Rabbit and Friends", episode 5. While searching for her somewhere lost handkerchiefs, little Lucie meets Mrs. Tiggy Winkle, a hedgehog who does laundry, anmd Mr. Jeremy Fisher, who had a bad encounter with a large fish.

A woman tells her story. She can't sleep. She works in a sushi shop in a seaside city. We see fishing boats arrive, fish sorted and sold at market, then chopped and boxed at the factory. At her shop, live fish swim in tanks. She's tired. She tries various methods to break her insomnia, none are successful. Late one night, two weeks into her ordeal, she rides her motor scooter at top speed into a realm of discovery. Will sleep and insight be of help? BAFTA winner

A young Japanese woman moves to a new city where she doesn't speak the language. Intimidated by her new home, she seeks out common bonds with people who share her love of diving, but ultimately jumps into a unexpected dream-like experience that opens her eyes to a whole new world.

After he's nearly shot at by hunters, Wirral the Squirrel is rescued by balloon-riding Froggo and both fly to a tropical island, where other rescued animals take refuge.

A little girl plays with her friend, a cow, until she catches a cold. Her parents take her away from the cow for safety and bring her indoors. As boredom sets in, the cow decides to jump over the moon. The little girl laughs to see such fun, but she doesn't laugh for long as the cow gets stuck on the moon with little chance of return.

A sweet reminiscence about a family of four children and their RAF-veteran dad, who knows the timetable of every bus in London, but realizes his large family needs a car. He buys a Peugeot station wagon - license plate GFP831E, and the family sets off for annual holidays exploring every corner of Europe - "adopting local customs but never forgetting who won the war." The narrator is one of the children who, as he ages, sees things he missed as a lad - the car no rocket, dad no speedster. As the years wear on, and the car sits in the driveway, dad keeps it ready for the next great summer holiday.

On a small Kalahari farm things look bleak. It hasn't rained for ages and the well has run dry and the residents are just about hanging on with what little they have. As the farmers' daughter prepares to gamble on the final few seeds they have left something appears on the horizon which could be the salvation they have been praying for.

Stanley, who has the aged and disheveled look of a pensioner living on little, attends lovingly to a large cabbage, the only thing growing in his brick-walled back yard. His wife, meanwhile, is in the kitchen with her cleaver, dispatching red meat and trussed chickens with thunderous whacks. One evening, her eyes settle on a recipe for beef with cabbage, and she throws down the gauntlet. Is it good-bye to the cabbage? Will Stanley have to part with the vegetable of his dreams?

Set to Gilbert and Sullivan tunes, a musical cartoon attempts to describe the character of the British nation, with occasional interruptions by Prince Charles.
