Minsk, August 2020. Pasha and Yulia, a young married couple, leave the house at night and find themselves in the midst of peaceful protests. Everyday walk turns into a real hell, in which innocent people are victims of police brutality.

The drama series, directed by Ilmar Raag, tells the story of young conscripts who suddenly find themselves in a completely new environment. Alongside the hardships of a new life, military service gives young people a chance to see the world from a fresh perspective and make bold decisions. Interestingly, it is this kind of 'closed' system that often offers people the freedom to take on new challenges.

The Soviet Union teeters on the verge of collapse in 1990 and tiny Baltic nations struggle to take back their independence. A rising tide of public opinion opposes the Estonian national team's participation in the USSR's basketball championship. The team makes the unpopular choice to participate.

Young Lydia, who has unexpectedly received two declarations of love from two different young men, travels to the countryside to visit good friends to put her heart in order. Instead of the hoped-for peace, however, she finds herself in a whirlwind of passionate events. The most beautiful girl in the village, Maie, is standing, just like her, between two suitors – the honest mulk Märt and the lying Enn. Her heart is drawn to Märt, but her greedy father Peeter refuses to acknowledge Märt because of his old hatred for the mulks. Thus, Koidula's creative quest and the village's love affairs intertwine into one colorful story.

While searching for his missing dog, Meelis stumbles upon a village where a strange crime has taken place. As he struggles to piece together what has happened, suspicions begin to arise. Telling good from evil seems nearly impossible when the truth is hopelessly lost.

"Passion" is a metaphorical story about a lady visited by the twin brother of her beloved: love turns into chaos, sin and atonement.
