Elena and Ivan are getting ready to enter into a new phase in their life. They are leaving the metropolis of Barcelona to settle in the Catalan countryside, where they are taking over a cork oak plantation. Not only will the business pay for their living, but they also want to exploit the plantation equitably and sustainably. But despite their ideals, Elena and Ivan soon find themselves in a crisis which will endanger not only their project, but also their relationship.

San Sebastian, the year 2000, the Basque conflict continues. While writing a letter to her absent brother, Sara, a 15-year-old climber, is training for the most difficult climb of her life.

Itziar Mendizabal is a first soloist at The Royal Ballet, London. When she was a child, she asked her father if she could be a ballet dancer. He answered writing the lyrics of the famous Basque song: Txoria Txori (The bird is a bird), setting her free to do what she wanted. Using the image of the bird to portray a strong woman, TXORIA is the collaboration between a dancer, a choreographer and the filmmakers of this documentary.

As I walked, I looked at the seats in vegetable gardens. They are waiting for those who look after those gardens to sit on them. Each one has its own character, its shape, its way of being. They seem to talk about being taken care of. They listen to one another, share ideas, tools, problems and actions.
