Juanjo, Mario and LucĂa go into a Qom community in the middle of the Impenetrable Chaqueño to make a television program that portrays the misery and desolation in which they live and how this affects their daily life. Upon arrival they discover that the Qom community has mysteriously disappeared. Lost, without food and water, they must find their way out of the mountain before the terrifying secrets that the Impenetrable hides trap them.
Carolina is the youngest of three sisters living confined in their home. Every day, their mother brings her a pig that she must kill herself, while the older sisters, EstefanĂa and Tatiana, have to cook it. Afterward, they all sit down at the table to eat. Their lives are defined by the ritual of cooking and eating, all while their mother torments them. As time passes, this dynamic becomes increasingly apparent.
Pedro, a nine-year-old boy who is in love with Lety, twenty-six, whom he is courting inside the wall, occasionally discovers that his neighbor RamĂłn dumps acid down the drain that leads to the river.
