Biography
Peruvian filmmaker selected for Talents Buenos Aires 2025. Trained in Communication Studies, he has directed three short films — Etopeya (2020), A distancia (2023), and Presunto (2023) — which have been screened at festivals such as FECIT, Andares, FENACI, Cortos de Vista, Render, and Doqumenta (Mexico). In 2020, he won first place in the Corto de Boleto competition. In 2026, he participated in the Documentary Chair Incubator for Project Development at the EICTV and in the documentary project workshop at Instituto del Cine Madrid. He is currently developing his next short film, Flotando en la oscuridad, an intimate exploration of the impact of paternal absence during childhood. The project has been selected for the Script Lab at BIFF — Bogotá International Film Festival (2024), the Directing Actors Workshop in Talents BA (2025), and the Script Incubator at Bolivia Lab (2025). He has also been selected for Filma, the training program of Gallinazos Cine.

Presunto

A look at the elderly who end up being forgotten both by their families in an emotional and economic sense and by a society that does not ensure them stability or a decent quality of life. Many of them gather in Plaza Italia (Lima) together with volunteers who share with them. In this way, they try to avoid thinking about the abandonment and loneliness in which they find themselves.
