A little girl lives with her mother in a beautiful house inherited by her father who passed away recently. Her mother finds some creepy drawings made by the little girl. It seems the girl has a very mysterious and scary friend. Based on Victor Surge character's, Slender Man.

In Slavic mythology, Rusalki are believed to be the spirits of young women who drowned in rivers or lakes. Their characteristics are similar to those of water nymphs, mermaids, and succubi. Rusalki tells the story of Leon, a historian who travels to remote cities to finish his thesis on historical places. Leon meets Liz, a widow who is struggling to cope with the recent disappearance of her only son. Liz allows Leon to spend a few nights at her house. However, unusual things begin to happen.

This film was inspired by Marilyn Manson song "If I Was Your Vampire". In 19th century, Charlotte, a Vampire woman, falls in love with the sweet Scarlet, a human girl. They both live an intense and forbidden romance. An insult to the natural order of things, in every way.
