Vast is an experimental short film inspired by the works of Maya Deren and Peter Tscherkassky, telling the story of a woman trapped in an inescapable cycle which forces her to confront repressed memories as her unconscious rises to the surface. 'Left Unspoken' explores the often unexpressed and personal emotions that come with the sudden loss of a loved one and the life one must cut out once they are gone. The film creates an intimate portrait of Duncan's mother, Ingrid, which, in doing so, paints a picture of Duncan himself as he reminisces about his world in which she is ever present and absent.
Left Unspoken

An experimental film that combines footage of three different unfinished projects, made using archival footage, analog photography and footage captured by a 2010 Barbie Video Girl doll. This film serves as a fitting conclusion to a period of the director's life characterised by emotional turmoil.
