It explores the last two years of Brazilian singer Cazuza's life, from his AIDS diagnosis until his death. Nilo Romero, Cazuza's music producer and the film's director, created a collection of rarely seen and controversial images.

"Impressões" rescues the history of the Brazilian press since 1808, when the "Correio Brasiliense" clandestinely reached Rio de Janeiro after being edited in London by Hipólito José da Costa, and spans until 1986. It's the first documentary to depict the history of the Brazilian journalistic press.

In 1970, Brazil was in the throes of a military dictatorship that lasted 20 years. Persecutions, arrests, killings, kidnappings. The film Seventy rejoins 18 characters of this story, forty years later. The film mixes the excitement of revisiting the past with a vision, sometimes even good humored of everything they lived. Many years afterwards they relive their experience of pain, violence and survival, of rebuilding their own story and continuing to believe in the possibility of improving the world.
