The film deals with certain major women issues within Oman and Asia with a focus on Oman and India, and how an Omani conservative society treats it. It is a self-discovery journey and a mixture between drama and road-movie.
Nine-year-old Aseel's father is the sheikh of his village and trains camels for racing. Excessive tourism results in a natural disaster that affects the villagers. When the father becomes a victim, Aseel must return his camel, destroying his dreams.
The film takes place in a coastal town where the locals are known for fishing and boat building. As it turns out, work in these two professions has started to decrease. Most young local men have deserted the town and started heading to the capital to look to for work.
