Three brothers separated by life are brought together in a fierce battle for the royal throne. Fate changes on the birthday of King Nour El-Din's second son, when Uncle Golden kills the king and pursues his heir. The faithful servant Radwan escapes with Princes Shams El-Din and Jalal El-Din, but they are separated. Shams El-Din grows up as a slave in the battalion, while Jalal El-Din grows up among thieves. When they meet again, conflicts between loyalty and betrayal explode in a battle for power.

Through three intertwining tales, the series sheds light on the terrorist acts taking place in the Arab region, especially Egypt, through the stories of the terrorist Ramzy, the police officer Adel who faces off against him, and the broadcaster Tarek Kassab who reports the events to the audience.

"The Day They Killed the Singing" revolves around a conflict between two brothers, in a journey searching for the reason for existence and the secret of the universe, and the conflict between the spirit of tolerance and love on the one hand, and fanaticism and hatred on the other hand.
