Acting
Peter, a forgotten Chinese American scholar, discovers a pulp villain named Fu Manchu and recognizes himself. What begins as one small, sincere act of civic heroism spirals into humiliation, violence, and psychological rupture. Darkly comic, emotionally raw, and culturally loaded, FU is a portrait of a man so starved for dignity he mistakes a racist caricature for a myth worth becoming.
Three interlocking stories based on experiences of missionaries for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
