Eight-year-old Fíasól rules her own enormous, imaginary kingdom. However, her ideas sometimes take an unexpected turn. She invites us into her junk-filled bedroom, where we meet her best friend Ingólfur Gaukur and the ghosts that lurk beneath the bed. But be warned, Sigmundur the web-servant appears with his magical vacuum cleaner, ready to cause mischief! This film is based on books by Kristín Helga Gunnarsdóttir and adapted by the author and director.

When Ruth, an eight year old who's recently lost her brother is made take part in a game of 'Hide and Seek' at a birthday party, she does exactly that. She leaves the party unseen and goes to seek audience with her ghost brother to try and understand the loss.
