The film tells about the protagonist's experience of quitting drug addiction and reverting to the righteousness.

He Jidong was drunk at a friend's party. When he woke up, the police had already appeared and found the diamond ring lost by his friend that night in his pocket. All the evidence and motives pointed to He Jidong, and He Jidong was imprisoned as a result. Two years later He Jidong was released from prison, his wife Jiaqi had divorced him. All of his friends and relatives also refused to deal with him. He Jidong's mother, however, asked a friend to find him a job on a construction site. He Jidong came to a low point in his life, but there is a woman who has been quietly concerned about him, accompany him. She is He Jidong's first girlfriend in college, Wang Fang.
