Biography
Mark Lavery is a Dublin born actor who holds both Irish and Canadian citizenship. His screen credits include the TV series Foundation (Apple TV+), Vikings (MGM/History), and John Butler's film Handsome Devil (Treasure Entertainment) which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and is currently streaming on Disney+. Mark's recent and upcoming work also includes The Wayfinders (Angel Studios), and Scary Tales of New York (Sky History). Mark's theatre roles include Gizzer in Deadly (Abbey Theatre), Romeo in Romeo and Juliet (Mill Theatre), Claudio in Much Ado About Nothing (Shakespeare in the Park, Iveagh Gardens), and Curio in Twelfth Night (Project Arts Centre). Mark trained with William Esper at the William Esper Studio in New York, and DIT’s Conservatory of Drama, Dublin.
Known For

The adventures of Ragnar Lothbrok, the greatest hero of his age. The series tells the sagas of Ragnar's band of Viking brothers and his family, as he rises to become King of the Viking tribes. As well as being a fearless warrior, Ragnar embodies the Norse traditions of devotion to the gods. Legend has it that he was a direct descendant of Odin, the god of war and warriors.

The Wayfinders

It operates as a competitive call-out for scripts, with the top finalists receiving funding and support to produce their 25-minute short dramas, which are then broadcast on RTÉ2 and the RTÉ Player.
