A day in the life of a comic book artist and his family in Russia. While suffering from the flu, Petrov is carried by his friend Igor on a long walk, drifting in and out of fantasy and reality.

In the fall of 2014, a young Russian journalist Alexei Suvorov, who dreams of money and fame, travels to Donbass as part of a humanitarian mission to interview the famous battalion commander Lesentsov, who is fighting on the side of the militia. He intends to sell the collected material to a German publication, with which he cooperates in parallel and where he plans to get a permanent job. During the journey, Suvorov encounters numerous obstacles that always distance him from his intended goal. As a result, he is forced to act rashly, risk his life and make mistakes. His fellow travelers are people with different destinies and attitudes to what is happening.

One chance encounter forever changes the lives of Oksana, a young girl from a simple family, and Sergei, a young oligarch. It all starts with the wedding. Oksana's sister Tanya is getting married. The wedding day turns into a series of disasters — literally everything is not going according to plan. Tanya's ex-lover even appears at the wedding. And the self-confident rich man Sergei makes an offer to Oksana in front of everyone. Oksana's refusal really hurts Sergey.: "And even if you say no a thousand times, sooner or later you'll say yes anyway!"

Viktor spends his free time trawling bars with ladies of questionable repute, from where he is picked up by a wife he doesn’t love, the mother of a child they never planned. Viktor himself was abandoned by his own father, his mother then committed suicide, and he was left to grow up in an orphanage. Years later, his errant dad returns, now a disabled felon, and Viktor discovers a timely legacy is in the offing – his father’s apartment. The documentation for securing dad’s move into an old people’s home is signed in a flash. Nevertheless, the only one that can take him is miles away and, what’s more, the invalid starts to recuperate during the journey, which is when their real problems begin.

The sought-after and spoiled actor Slava loses everything at once - contracts, popularity, good relations with his family. However, the protagonist does not give up and, together with his agent, comes up with a dangerous adventure - to bury himself alive in order to resurrect his career and start from scratch.

Aspiring actress Sonya, having lost all hopes of getting an audition for the eminent artistic director of the theater, gets a job on the set of a film in which he is taking part. The girl, who is in love with her, helps the girl get closer to the artist, Vanya, an assistant sound engineer and part-time talented playwright who wrote a play especially for Sonya. However, due to excitement, all attempts by the inexperienced actress to express herself turn into awkward incidents. Time is running out, and soon Sonya will be faced with a choice: stay true to her friendship or carve out a place for herself in the sun.

One morning, the criminal authority Dad convenes three "sons" and tells the latest news. Everyone remembers how three years ago, the keeper of the regional communal Mule ran away, taking the money. Also, everyone remembers how he was found, punished and buried. And the news is like this. Yesterday Mulya, alive and well, was seen in three cities at once: St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk and Rostov. Dad sends "sons" to these cities to scout out what's what. For each of them, the journey will not be the easiest.

The plot is reminiscent of a fairy tale, when the husband goes sailing, and as a farewell, the wife ties a thread to his button so that she knows where her beloved is.
