Based on Padraic Lillis’ award-winning one man show, Get to Eleven blends live performance elements with narrative cinematic storytelling in an intimate conversation about suicide, addiction and the importance of sharing stories in our darkest moments. On stage in performance, among friends in conversation, and in the streets and subways of New York City, Padraic offers his own story, and empowers his audiences to deepen their own relationship with life, mental health, and mortality.

Set in the institutional monotony of a senior care facility, Joan's Teeth follows Joan, funny, sharp, and unflinching, as she wrestles with the betrayals of aging and the stubborn remnants of the past. Her dentures become a darkly comic metaphor for everything she can't control: desire, loss, and mortality. Both tender and unsettling, the film is a chamber piece about defiance in decline, a woman refusing to go quietly, holding on to her bite until the very end.

Julia Brothers’ first solo show, a San Francisco Playhouse commission, is an 70-minute ride on the rails of life. From watching RFK’s funeral train pass by as a child with her father, to riding a commuter train to visit her aging mother, each stop brings a collage of memories questioning what is real, imagined or forever forgotten. Fullness and loss appear and disappear along the way, leading her to ask, What is left when memories fade or collide; when the heart sings out and the mind says no? How do we keep memories alive and how do we trust what they were to begin with? Filled with pathos and humor and directed by Padraic Lillis, Julia takes us on a journey of the heart: to discover what it is to love, lose and love again.
