Substrat

This project moves sound and image using wind movements. It shows the alteration of spectrograms with these motion vectors and applies a sound resynthesis.
Acoustic Shadows

During a trip in Asia, I created in-camera light patterns (action video light scratching). Live camera movements which create new geometric structures and waving patterns to the city light sources. Images in chronological order of a trip in Asia, accompanied by the original sound captured during filming- P.B
Night Waves

A tale of the wind, a camera is travelling across an ocean to reach turbulent landscapes. Wind instruments, rustles, waves of every form, on the land and into the images, the wind modulates time and space.
Wind

Using animation, sounds warping and time shifts this video runs forwards and backwards looking for forgotten details, mimicking the way memories are replayed in the mind
LoopLoop

Mechanical sounds are beating the cadence. They are scratching deeply the surface of the industrial machinery and create repetitive sounds going into revolutions. This is the second film of the "Trilogie sonore".
Cadence

Through sampling, glitch editing and pitch play, Malfunctions combines early newsreels and Harvard University science footage of actual, imminent hazards: past disasters that foreshadow present current environmental and infrastructural crises. Connecting this cinematic collage is a remix of Mae West’s intensely sexualized version of a 1913 song by Black Canadian composer Shelton Brooks, from the film She Done Him Wrong (1933). Radically slowed, West’s mournful, sensual voice transforms loss and longing into a haunting stillness played out over oddities in the news.
