The small town of "Banner Elk" has fallen victim to a serial killer dubbed, "The Banner Elk Butcher," who makes art out of his victims in a brutal fashion. A group of friends are about to discover just how brutal his art can be.

When a group of old college friends reunite at a remote lakeside cabin, they quickly realize something is wrong—the forest is too quiet, and the local wildlife is missing. Soon, they're hunted by a swarm of mutated, flesh-eating otters infected by toxic waste from a nearby chemical spill. As the blood-soaked chaos unfolds, friendships fracture and survival instincts kick in. With no way to call for help, the group must fight back using whatever weapons they can find—including a chainsaw and a whole lot of rage. But just when they think it's over, the infection reveals it may have already claimed one of their own.

In a not so distant future, great white sharks have gone extinct. Over fishing, climate change, pollution have all contributed to the species complete annihilation from the seas... but, land may be their new hunting ground! When a mad scientist plays god and genetically engineers a shark/human, he unleashes the highly viral monster on the unsuspecting citizens of a nearby small town. Now, a group of friends must band together if they are to survive the “sharkocalypse”. Run, hide, fight... or be turned into CHUM!
