In Paraguay, during the regime of dictator Alfredo Stroessner, almost 400 people disappeared without a trace, and several hundred thousand were sent to prisons where they were tortured. One of these people was Emilio Barreto, an aspiring actor who spent a total of thirteen years in prison despite never being tried for any crime.

This short film takes place in the office of a psychoanalyst, where a couple meets to talk about the conflict of the father who does not accept that his son is homosexual. Hipólita, a struggling mother, vindicates the equality and rights of her son. Transition highlights the ability of women to transform, decide, understand, value, help and overcome any adversity in life.

Basilio has become accustomed to the lack of water, to the abuse of authority, to the suffering and loneliness that corruption generates. He is trapped, like many others to the system that reigns where he lives.
