Biography
Kim Ji‑hoon (born 1979) is a South Korean former professional boxer, boxing trainer, and actor. After competing as a boxer and serving as a member of the national team, he transitioned into coaching and became one of the trainers at Big Punch Boxing Club, where he has also worked closely with actor Ma Dong‑seok. Alongside his sports career, Kim has appeared as a supporting actor or extra in numerous films and dramas since the late 1990s. His early screen work includes small roles in The Face (1999), Friend (2001), Sweet Sex and Love (2003), Shit Up! (2004), and Crying Fist (2005). He gained wider public recognition in 2024 with his role as Chief Jo in the hit film The Roundup: Punishment (범죄도시4), the first movie of his career to surpass 10 million viewers. Kim also holds official certifications as a Level‑3 Sports Instructor, bodybuilding judge, and boxing judge, and serves as an executive director at A‑Team Body Science, combining athletic training, coaching, and management.
