A yearly musical contest organized by the municipality of Viña del Mar, Chile which takes place during the last week of February at the Quinta Vergara Amphitheater since February 21, 1960.

Aided by archival footage and interviews with its key figures, this documentary delves into the history of Argentine rock music from its origins up to the mid-1990s.

It tells of the band's record return with "La luz del ritmo", reflecting in a very intimate way the process of creation and recording. Linking the documentary images, it includes interviews conducted by Marcelo Fernández Bitar, where the protagonists present the album song by song.
