Shin Namura

The main character provides a highly unusual service by offering his companionship in exchange for the humble fee of covered transportation costs and payment of his food and beverage tab. Joining others to file legal papers, enjoy a denied icy treat, or to ride a train’s entire loop just for the fun of it, are typical of the requests he takes on. He is blessed with a young son and an extremely supportive wife. Interestingly enough, this person who does nothing, save for answering the simplest of questions, manages to warm the hearts of the people he meets.

In a situation where location shooting was difficult due to the Corona pandemic, four omnibus horror films that could be shot in the school were planned as the graduation project for the technical area students. Four horrific events with completely different themes and stories take place.

BUMP short drama

Whilst working as a full-time employee, Umi Kaneda (Yuriko Yoshitaka) had been repeatedly sneaking into other people’s memorial services, helping herself to the buffet and then leaving. One day, at a venue she had wandered into, Kaneda happened to come across some familiar faces. They were her former teammates from the women’s futsal club at university, where she had once served as captain. Among them were her best friend, Keiko Yamagata (Honami Sato), and even Mizuki Kawagoe (Sayaka Yamaguchi), the club advisor she had always resented. The portrait of the deceased showed Kimi Shirazawa (Hinako Sakurai), a junior she had once played alongside on the pitch. ‘Why wasn’t I invited?’ — Her present life and her glorious university days begin to intertwine. Was that brilliance truly genuine?!

School cleaner Nozomi Haruta was happy. She was supposed to marry her partner, her beloved, her soulmate, the handsome teacher Chitose Yokomizo, but when he secretly marries someone else, he ruins her dreams and breaks her heart. Also, maybe her mind? Seized by desperation, Nozomi photobombs his big wedding photograph by replacing the bride, steals the camera, and makes a run for it! Headlong into the path of a courier carrying Castella cakes! When she wakes up, she sees Chitose hovering over her, only it’s not him, but a being who calls himself Castella (as in the cake). For the next two weeks (the expiration date for the cakes), he will be Nozomi’s cake-based companion and help her get over her despair.
