Biography
Carine Rizcallah is a Lebanese actress and writer, best known for Marte w Bente w Ana (2002), Ayle Aa Fared Mayle (2008), Albi Dak (2013), Mech Ana (2016), and Enti Meen (2019). She was born in Saida to a Lebanese father and a Mexican mother, Nadia Martinez Hobeika. Her father was a civil engineer, and her mother passed away when Carine was thirteen. She studied acting and theater at the Lebanese University, despite her father’s opposition to her chosen field. During her time at university, she met her husband, Fady Charbel, who was also a student. After a five-year relationship, they married in 1999 and have two daughters: Nadia (born in 2001) and Naya (born in 2005).
