Liva Wichfeld is preparing to take up the position as leader of the anti-abortion party Freedom and Responsibility. When she becomes pregnant, her personal and political convictions begin to waver.
When Emma’s troubled brother Oskar is forced out of his group home, she reluctantly takes him in—suddenly burdened with a responsibility she never asked for. As she struggles to keep him in line, his reckless behavior threatens to pull them both under, forcing Emma to question how far she can - or should - go to save him.
