Biography
Luis Arturo Rodríguez is a Mexican cinematographer and director born on August 30th, 1999. He studied a major on Film and TV in Centro, a film school located in Mexico City. When he was 19, he directed his first shortfilm "Amado", which was presented in "Cineteca Mexiquense" and received national and international recognition. In 2020, he co-directed “Polaroids of Anxiety” a short film focused on the human struggles generated by the COVID-19 pandemic. The short film featured national and international film festivals, including “Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia”. Since then, Luis Arturo turned his focus to cinematography. In 2022 he was the cinematographer behind his classmates final projects including “Ha”, directed by Almendra Castro which was featured in FICM 2023.
