Praised for his dramatic intensity and comic touch in performances, John is focused now on Film, Television and Commercial acting. He spent many years on the stage as an Opera singer performing leading roles primarily at the LA Opera, and also around the country and in Europe. He enjoyed opportunities to work with directors including William Friedkin, Herbert Ross, Sir Peter Hall, John Schlesinger, and Gordon Davidson. Telling the story in a clear direct way is always the challenge and the goal, whether singing or talking, on stage or on camera.
