Sorokdo is an island of Korea where the scars of the wars are visible. Wars that sowed confusion, suffering and injustice in a society concentrated on its economic development.

Mother and son let the violent father die, who is charged with being reincarnated as crabs and being punished by his own family. In parallel, the present and future of his son appear to show the succession of life perpetually affected by violence.
