Biography
Karl "Charly" Kahr (8 June 1932 – 27 April 2024) was an Austrian alpine ski racer and coach, including head coach of the Austrian downhill ski team from 1976 to 1985. Between 1968 and 1985, his protégés won a total of 13 medals, seven of them gold. The Schladming native died on 27 April 2024 at the age of 91. Kahr leaves behind his wife Gerlinde and two daughters.
